I've just installed the 3 tom triggers, all I can say is 'WOW' unbelievable. They took about 15 minutes or so for each one to fit. Got the heights correct straight away and the response is beyond incredible. I did not have to tweak the Pearl Mimic Pro, just plugged in and instant responsive drums!!  I have tried most of the major brands and I can honestly say these have blown the others out of the water!!  I've just got to road test them but instinctively know they will stand up just because of the robust construction. “ Marshall your triggers have changed my life. I thought my acoustic Pearl Masters kit sounded great until I tried Extreme Drum Triggers (and drum samples in my computer). The triggers are simple and quick to install and the sensitivity and accuracy of them are second to none. I still get the feel and look of the Pearl Masters kit but with the flexibility of being able to trigger any sound.

I am a producer based in London and use the triggers in the studio only. Mixing and control of volume, EQ, and compression of the individual drum sounds is now far easier than trying to get a decent sound out of an acoustic kit. I can easily edit the MIDI signals and my drum tracks sound fat. I use acoustic cymbals the traditional way with overhead mics and mix them with the kick, snare and tom samples for a 100% realistic sound. This hybrid approach is perfect for me as a busy producer who needs awesome results fast.
